March 11, 7 p.m. -- Betty and fellow author Donis Casey talk about and sign their books -- both chose California as their settings -- in a program titled "California Dreamin'" at Changing Hands Bookstore, in Tempe AZ, SW corner of McClintock & Guadalupe.

 

March 12-15 -- Betty attends Left Coast Crime in San Diego CA. On Saturday, March 14, at 9 a.m. she discusses the real crimes behind "The Panda of Death" and at 2:45, is on the "Extreme Settings" in Sierra 5-6.

April 25, 2 p.m. -- Betty explains how being a zoo volunteer for the Phoenix Zoo gave her the idea for the Gunn Zoo series, and how a visit to the San Diego Zoo broadened her scope even further. Book Carnival, Orange CA.

 

May 1 - through July 31, 2020. Betty will be Writer-in-Residence at Foothills Public Library, Glendale AZ. Twice a week she will give classes in various aspects of writing and will also help emerging writers with their current manuscripts. Check back in April for the schedule of class times and to make one-on-one appointments.

 

May 16, noon -- Betty discusses writing three different series (and staying sane while doing so) at the Phoenix Writers Club, Bluewater Grill, 1720 E. Camelback, Phoenix AZ

 

Sept. 26, 1-3 p.m. Betty teaches "Writing Your First Book" at Tempe Library, Tempe AZ
